THOUGHTS
Today I’m taking time to reflect on the service and sacrifice of our military service members. Because of their courage—both in moments of danger and in long, unglamorous stretches of duty—I’m able to live in this beautiful city, raise my family in peace, and do the work I love in community with people who care deeply.
At a time when the political climate in the U.S. and around the world feels increasingly unstable, I’m thinking not only about those who gave their lives for freedom, but also about the daily responsibilities of citizenship—what it means to live in alignment with our values, even in small ways.
“Heroism doesn’t always happen in a burst of glory. Sometimes small triumphs and large hearts change the course of history.”
– Mary Roach (via wordstream.com)
This quote reminds me that the actions we take in our everyday lives—how we show up for each other, how we care for our bodies, how we speak up when it matters—can also change the course of history. Maybe not all at once, but one small step at a time.
I hope you’ll join me in reflecting today: on what’s been lost, what’s still worth protecting, and what kind of future we want to help shape.
Class Spotlight: GYROTONIC® Posture Focus
This small-group class is one of our most versatile offerings—ideal for those navigating hypermobility, low bone density, or simply seeking a slower pace to refine posture, breath, and coordination.
Join us Tuesdays at 1:00 PM (taught by Harriet during Sophia’s June break) or Saturdays at 10:00 AM with Rowan.
It’s a grounding way to reconnect with your center and move with more support as summer approaches.

Let us know by text or email if you’d like to attend in-studio.Ongoing Classes vs. Class Enrollments
Ongoing classes are designed for flexibility—clients can use class packs and drop in week to week. These tend to have consistent attendance and don’t require a minimum number of participants to run.
Class enrollments are structured as 4-week series with a set group. These require a minimum number of participants (usually 3–4) to run. They offer more progression and consistency for both students and instructors.
Guide to Class Series Enrollment is now open! All series are listed under the Enrollments tab in WellnessLiving and include 4 weekly classes with a steady group. Classes do not appear on the general schedule, so head to Enrollments to view and register.
Waitlist Policy Reminder
If your preferred class is full, join the waitlist! You'll be notified if a spot opens, and once you confirm, your payment or credit will be applied automatically.
