We’re Hiring — Join Our Team
Gyrotonic Instructor
Movement For Everyone is actively seeking an experienced GYROTONIC® instructor (5+ years teaching experience required) to join our team in a part-time, interim-to-ongoing capacity. We're looking for someone who brings depth in biomechanics, a thoughtful and evidence-informed teaching approach, and genuine appreciation for the somatic and spiritual elements of mind–body modalities.
This role is anchored in Wednesday and Thursday evening group classes, with the opportunity to build out 1:1 and duet appointments over time. We're a studio that is growing, and this position grows with us.
We value colleagues who are grounded, collaborative, and curious — people who enjoy working in a respectful, professional environment and who are committed to providing high-quality instruction to clients of all ages and backgrounds. We're looking for someone who understands that great teaching is only part of what keeps clients coming back — someone who nurtures relationships, builds community, and knows that retention is rooted in trust and connection as much as expertise.
GYROKINESIS® and/or Pilates certifications are welcome. Dual-certified candidates given priority. Evening and weekend availability is required.
Compensation & Employment Status
This is a W-2 employee position. Instructors are hired as employees, not as independent contractors or studio renters. This means you are covered under our studio liability insurance while teaching, compensated for both teaching and administrative time, and supported with a continuing education benefit. You focus on teaching and building relationships — we handle the business infrastructure.
Base teaching rate: $40–$50 per hour, depending on certifications, experience, and class format.
Administrative rate: $25 per hour.
Attendance-based class bonuses.
Continuing education benefit.
Final rates are determined at the time of hire.
If you feel aligned with our mission and teaching approach, we'd love to connect. We'd especially love to hear how you think about the relationship between teaching and community.
Tell us about your teaching!
