Timing is everything

Mornings and midday are easy. By 5pm it's still manageable. By 5:30 it starts to fill — if you have an evening appointment, give yourself a few extra minutes and a backup plan.

Street by street

Mission Street Metered parking directly out front. Two-hour limit. Bring coins or the SF Park app.

Fair Street(runs perpendicular to Mission) Two-hour neighborhood parking. No meter. ⚠ Street sweeping: Tuesdays 12–2pm

Powers Street(runs perpendicular to Mission) Two-hour neighborhood parking. No meter. No street sweeping — one of the more reliable options.

Coleridge Street(runs parallel to Mission) Two-hour neighborhood parking. ⚠ Street sweeping: 2nd and 4th Fridays, 8–10am

Precita Avenue(runs perpendicular to Mission) Worth a loop — neighborhood parking, generally less competitive than the Mission-facing streets.

Tiffany Street Can work, especially if you're coming from the Cortland side. A dead-end street, so may require a 3-point-turn.

Valencia Street(between Mission and Duncan) Metered back-in only parking. Note the back-in requirement — enforced.


What to skip

The CPMC Mission-Bernal medical garage on Mission is not available for public use.
